Generative AI is rapidly advancing; along with this comes a lot of problems. One of these problems is AI deepfake fraud, causing billions of dollars of losses globally and projected to cause $40 billion of losses by 2027. The biggest percentage of it is voice deepfake fraud, surging 1,300%, causing an average of $500k in losses per incident and continuing to grow. The reason why this growth hasn't slowed down is because most financial institutions, people, or organizations that are vulnerable to this either don't think that it is viable for them or don't want to buy expensive or enterprise detection systems. The main problems with other detection systems are that they are either too expensive or are closed systems or they aren't trained on large amounts of differential conditions like compressed audio, background noise, advancing voice-cloning concepts, and more. PulmoForge is a real-time, lightweight AI voice detection system designed to be across communication channels and eventually be accessible on individual phone calls. It is currently trained on large amounts of diverse real and fake audio with differential conditions and built to be a reliable alternative to expensive or enterprise systems.
