What are this project's goals? How will you achieve them?

Generate a few solid posts that people find useful, and net me a writer/researcher job, keeping me from Ronald McDonald's hot, greasy embrace.

To do this, I will write 30 blog posts over 2 months. I will be writing daily to achieve this.

I would like to write more bangers, but I am broke. I want to get a job, but I need to write more to show my worth. Save me from Ronald McDonald's greasy embrace.

How will this funding be used?

To pay my bills while I write.

Who is on your team? What's your track record on similar projects?

I'm Algon_33/Algon, author of such bangers as "Do One New Thing a Day to Solve Your Problems", "Maybe Social Media Algorithms Don't Suck", "The Doomers Were Right," and "Stars Are A Rounding Error".

I garnered >2k karma on LW last time I posted daily, with some posts getting hundreds of karma and tens of thousands of views. So impact is likely. As for turning that into a job, interviewers told me they liked my writing and wanted to see me write some of the posts I pitched to them, which I listed in the summary above.

What are the most likely causes and outcomes if this project fails?

I will fail if I don't get enough runway to keep paying my bills. If that happens, I will have to take a crummy job which I will hate and fail at because I'm constitutionally incapable of doing stuff that bores me.

How much money have you raised in the last 12 months, and from where?

Personally? None. For other people/organizations? Over >$100k, from SFF, MIRI and others.
