grantmaking.ai Launch Round
-
What it is:
A simple, systematic literacy programme that takes educators, admin and students through the principles of AI governance and safety and what they mean in practice, so they can guide how AI is adopted in teaching and learning, and become advocates for safe and responsible AI. -
What we have done and will do:
We are continuing implementation based on the findings from our pilot with the Lagos State government. The next step is a train-the-trainer programme which lets us scale the training of teachers and students far beyond what we could reach directly. After the train-the-trainer programme, we will expand the training to more schools in District IV and begin a fuller training for students, shaped by the research findings from the pilot. District IV has 97 schools. Our pilot covered 6 of them, training more than 70 teachers and 300 Students -
