Bring together people (creatives, technologists, game developers, researchers, communicators, field-builders) needed to make a successful AI safety museum exhibition.
Already have a team of 10 volunteers, volunteer lead is Archana Vaidheeswaran, program director of Algoverse. Partnering with Berlin AI Safety Office and Foresight Institute Node.
Goal is 500 in-person visitors in 6 months, and 5000 visitors in 1 year.
An immersive museum exhibition increases public awareness of safety and governance aspects, grows the talent pool of people reducing x-risk, and provides an intersection point for researchers, policy makers, and the public.
Min: Coordinating volunteers, project management, sourcing artists and interactive exhibits, marketing and outreach, online demos, compute and online presence.
Max: Same but with a budget, full-time staff, and wider reach. Funds 2 full-time organizers for 1 year, plus a funded artist residency. Pilot in Berlin with plans to scale to London and SF.
