grantmaking.ai Launch Round
The funding will be used to build a small AI safety engineering lab around AOIA-Core / AIOA Whitehat.I am now working with Gary Anthony Leckey through R&A Consulting and Brokerage Services Ltd / Aureon Institute. The goal is to create a practical working environment where we can develop, test, review, and publish AOIA-Core as a human-controlled epistemic control system for AI-assisted software workflows. The minimum funding would cover a focused prototype phase: development time, testing, local infrastructure, backup storage, basic hardware upgrades, API access for controlled model testing, and external review of the safety architecture. The ideal funding would allow us to build a stronger shared development setup for both myself and Gary. This would include reliable computers/workstations, local-first development hardware, secure storage and backups, limited API credits for testing provider boundaries, software tools, contributor support, and preparation of a public demo and research release. The money will not be used for uncontrolled automation or live deployment of unsafe agents. It will support engineering work, safety testing, adversarial evaluation, documentation, and a controlled prototype that demonstrates how AI-generated actions can be inspected, reviewed, and approved by humans before they affect code, files, tools, providers, browsers, packages, or Git.
