Updated 07/06/26 · Provided via application · VerifiedI'm growing an AI safety and ethics, and also AI education focused TikTok account targeted for Indonesian. Indonesia is the fourth largest populated country in the world, and a growing AI user. Currently the government is very slow on deciding AI laws related to labor, let alone policies regarding safety, ethics in usage, etc. Indonesian are massive TikTok users, most people aged 15-30 downloaded TikTok. We think it's important to target this gap, inform and educate the mass about AI risk, and misalignment. Indonesia is also a "viral based" or reactionary policy making country, which means they will either move regarding AI safety when something dangerous already happened, or a when a big protest by the people happened, this has happened several time for example the protest on August 2025. We think if we can at least be the help in educating the young people, reference the newest updates and what other countries are doing regarding AI policies, it will be a substantial help in the movement.

Indonesia need to move, and we think if we can at least be the help in educating about AI existential threat or danger or misuses, bringing newest updates and what other countries are doing regarding AI policies for the tiktok crowd to learn, it will be a substantial help in the enforcing the people to know about this issue, and could help inspire other (tech) content creators to also talk about it.
