Updated 05/18/26 · By grantmaking.aiResilient Supply Chains investigates how escalating geopolitical tensions, erosion of arms-control treaties and increased deployment of AI in autonomous weapon systems interact with the risks of large-scale nuclear conflict. The project develops sophisticated models of trade-network disruption and post-crisis recovery, with a focus on food and other critical goods, in order to pinpoint chokepoints and policy interventions that can make global supply chains more robust and better able to sustain populations through and after extreme shocks.
