Theory of Impact
Updated 07/13/26 · By grantmaking.aiBy the end of the program we expect to have 50 more volunteers who will spread AI safety information and help draft AI safety policies for Kenya and create a benchmark in AI safety in the African continent. We expect to reach 300k more people through the program graduates. We also expect to introduce AI safety conversations across Kenya and the rest of Africa. We expect to come up with literature papers that will enlighten the general population on x-risks and also come up with ways of controlling AI development locally which will serve as an early international trigger to regulate AI development in the continent and globally.
