Project Details

ARBOx (Alignment Research Bootcamp Oxford) is a full-time, in-person, two-week ML safety intensive in Oxford. The syllabus is a compressed version of ARENA, with participants building GPT-2-small from scratch, learning mechanistic interpretability techniques, getting an introduction to RL and RLHF, and replicating at least one alignment-relevant paper. OAISI provides central Oxford accommodation, meals, and partial travel support for selected participants.
