A book/video essay/course detailing the rise of open science labs , movement away from research in academia to research by independents, and groups you can join.
It's more or less a continuation of this post into a longer book.
What I'll do (and have done) - About 200 pages written , about 150 more to go.

Get's a lot more people talking about doing research independently which should bring more people into all fields

$5000- The current state of the book has hand drawn infographics, I'll hire an editor and typesetter, plus some proof reads. Book comes out either way, ideally late september.
$10000- I narrate the entire book into an audio book, and add visuals, like a video essay.
$15000- All of this gets turned into a mini course with a site etc for people to collab and add stuff, will also go through the basics of research,
