The politics of the 2030s will be determined by how much technology humanity decides to adopt, and how much control of the future we decide to give it (see a figure from an unreleased essay a friend and I are writing).
Methodology: I would do this with YouGov, and contract them as part of their omnibus service. I’ve also included interesting and under-asked questions about the future. I’d then write a short research paper / report, and then send it as an exclusive to different journalist types.

I think that this would be highly useful, interesting + newsworthy (we’re going to face these questions about how to split the Universe etc. soon, and a baseline would be nice).

Endorsed. I've seen Jason's previous work and it is exceptional. The fact that this you're contracting YouGov's omnibus project also makes me more confident that the project will succeed.
