grantmaking.ai Launch Round
I would use it to cover my daily expenses and build out the project. It would allow me to go full-time on this. $10,000 gives me two and half months. $50,000 gives me a year.
A community tool which accelerates how people find others in the AI space based on mutual interests and goals. Also a "radar" which scans Slack channels (e.g. Blue Dot's) for relevant opportunities.

Graph has one input: people's profiles. These are built in under 1 minute through LLM prompts and Slack integrations. They can further be built out any time as people add personal context. They are centered on people's interests in AI safety.
For example a profile summary could be: Interested in mechanistic interpretability, currently trying to understand induction heads in transformer circuits, and open to PhD programs in the next year.
Graph has one output: context-heavy, useful introductions to opportunities.
Example: person X shares a paper in the about activation steering in the #news channel in the BlueDot Slack, wondering if it generalizes at a larger scale. Person Y complained about a similar scaling problem in the #find-collaborators-get-feedback channel two weeks ago. Neither person sees the other's post. Graph does, and makes the connection (with context so the connection is efficient).
There's a reason that EAG conferences focus on people meeting the right people.
Same with AIS: if the right people meet the right people with appropriate context, they achieve their goals faster.
