Updated 07/03/26 · Provided by member · VerifiedI'm a machine learning researcher focused on bringing rigorous modeling to the world's most pressing problems. I currently research at Google DeepMind, working with Maria Eckstein on computational models of individual neural response and network propagation, and I serve as Lead Researcher at Harvard Medical School's Biomedical Cybernetics Laboratory under Prof. Gil Alterovitz, where I'm first author on three published manuscripts in computational biology and epidemiological modeling. I've reviewed for ICML and IEEE CIS as a program committee member, earning an ICML Gold Reviewer Award, and I've presented peer-reviewed research at IEEE CIBCB and AIxHEART. As one of six global winners (from 6,000+ applicants) of the Non-Trivial Research Scholarship (an Effective Altruism aligned fellowship), I built a modeling project on optimal bed net allocation for malaria control. I'm now looking to bring the same technical rigor to reducing existential risk from advanced AI.
