I'm currently a GovAI Summer Fellow (supervised by Jeffrey Ding), building a dataset of the authors behind Chinese AI regulation. I also write Chips & States, a Substack on Taiwan's AI policy landscape and compute governance, including interviews with Taiwanese institutions. Lately I've co-facilitated the NTU AI Safety reading group's governance track and led a research sprint on East Asian compute governance. Background: MPhil Sociology (Cambridge), Fulbright-funded MA (The New School). Fluent in Spanish, English, French; Mandarin B2, targeting HSK 6 and TOCFL 5 by January 2027.
