He is completing an MPhil in Global Risk and Resilience at Cambridge's Centre for the Study of Existential Risk, supported by the Trinity Cambridge Research Studentship, and begins an MRC-funded DPhil in Clinical Medicine at Oxford's Nuffield Department of Medicine in October 2026. His research spans biosecurity, AIxBio convergence, and global catastrophic risk, with sole-authored work in journals including Health Security, Global Security: Health, Science and Policy, and across The Lancet family. He founded the global health charity Volunteer Global Health and has deployed repeatedly as a humanitarian physician with UK-Med, including to Gaza and Ukraine. Inspired by the effective altruism movement, he donated a kidney to a stranger in 2022, triggering a chain of three transplants. He is active in the effective altruism community.
