Angela Ng

I'm a jack of all trades, but always with a strong public interest: Civil and Environmental and Biomedical Eng background + Public Health (Global Disease Epi & Control; Humanitarian Health). I've worked in water and sanitation in Bangladesh, DRC, South Africa; maternal and child health in India; STEM education in Rwanda, Zimbabwe, Qatar; and climate education worldwide. I've been covered by the NYTimes, BBC, Smithsonian for various initiatives. I lead a group called AI for Good NYC where I've been convening and connecting a group of technologists, social entrepreneurs, and policy-makers to work on the world's most pressing problems, safely, responsibly, sustainably, and at scale. I've worked on AI adoption at my job at Carnegie Mellon, but also with a lot of community organizations that have ongoing trust with frontline communities.
