These skills naturally drove me to pursue a career in technology law and policy after two failed attempts at running startups and rejections from all but one of the computer science programs I applied to. Currently, the bulk of my work focuses on advancing African tech sovereignty and developing innovative legal and policy responses to mitigate potential risks posed by present and future AI advances and global catastrophic biological risks. I have extensive experience working as a tech lawyer and policy analyst across various African jurisdictions. In my spare time, much like George R. R. Martin, I enjoy doing everything except completing my upcoming book.
