Connor Axiotes

Co-Founder and CEO of Tail End Films, a London production company making films about existential risk from AI. Presenter and executive producer of Making God, a feature documentary on risks from AI (from job loss to x-risk) aimed at a general audience. Featuring Geoffrey Hinton, Daron Acemoglu, Richard Rhodes, Daniel Kokotajlo, Max Tegmark, Sir Stephen Fry, Jaime Yassif, original footage of Bernie Sanders, and more. We're co-producing Making God with Insight TWI Films (whose last two documentaries, Scout's Honor and Apollo 13: Survival, landed on Netflix in 2023 and 2024), and the film is now in post-production - picture lock end of 2026. I worked in British politics as a Senior Communications Officer for a Cabinet Minister and wrote the Adam Smith Institute's paper on policy responses for Superintelligence as their Director of Communications. I write multiple times a year on AI risk for the UK's largest newspapers, including the Daily Mail and The Telegraph, as well as POLITICO, Euractiv, and others. My university thesis (what feels like many moons ago!) was on the labour effects of automation and AGI. TEF is now raising grant funding for overheads and runway as we plan our next exciting feature films on AI risk - both fiction and documentary.
