My research interests are AI safety and Computer Vision. I am also founder of Shiba AI (https://www.shiba-ai.jp/ai-safety) - an independent, volunteer-based academic research initiative focused on AI safety & AI applications. I serve as Research Director and Academic Advisor, with responsibilities including research direction, academic supervision, international collaboration, and supporting projects toward academic publication and community awareness. Shiba AI brings together students and early-career researchers from universities across different countries to work on technical AI safety, trustworthy AI, AI governance, and responsible AI applications.
