Kasia Jakimowicz AIGP, CIMP, PMP

Kasia Jakimowicz is a Research Affiliate at the Oxford Martin AI Governance Initiative and a Senior Research Fellow at Pivotal Research, where she works on sovereign AI capabilities, including sovereign access to frontier AI systems, compute governance and international coordination mechanisms for overseeing frontier models. She is an AI governance, technology diplomacy and digital policy strategist who has advised governments, multilateral organisations and private‑sector leaders, and previously served as Senior Policy Adviser on AI and emerging technologies at the UK Mission to the United Nations, held roles at the World Bank Group and European Commission on digital regulation, and led the International Centre of Digital Innovation at the ITU in Geneva.
