PEAKS

PEAKS is a coworking office space in Zurich, Switzerland dedicated to professionals and researchers working in Effective Altruism and AI Safety. Located at Zeughausstrasse 31, 8004 Zurich, close to Zurich's main train station, the space provides a physical hub for the Swiss EA and AI safety community.

The facility offers public coworking every Tuesday and Thursday for anyone interested in EA or AI Safety, as well as dedicated desks for resident organizations. Current occupants include Effective Altruism Switzerland (EACH) and Apollo Research. The space includes meeting rooms, work desks with monitors, a common area, and a library stocked with EA and AI Safety literature.

PEAKS regularly co-organizes events with Zurich AI Safety (ZAIS) and EA Zurich, covering topics from AI risk to community building. The space is designed to foster collaboration among independent researchers, professionals, and organizations working at the intersection of EA principles and AI safety practice.

Open Philanthropy, through a grant to Effective Altruism Switzerland, provided funding to support the Zurich coworking space for researchers and professionals working on AI safety and global catastrophic risk reduction. The space is accessible via public transportation from Zurich HB and nearby tram stops.
