Recipient: Educating French decision-makers on AI existential risk
Purpose: Grant from the Future of Life Institute to PauseAI Global (Stichting PauseAI), for building grassroots organizing networks. Part of it funded the salary of Pause IA France's Executive Director from December 2025 until around April 2026. We were not the direct grantee: the funding went to Global, which passed some of it on to us. Global no longer has the treasury to continue this, so Pause IA France now covers that salary in full.
