- Purpose
- The funding supports the activities of Inter-Math-AI, aka IMA, from the first admitted cohort in 2022, till the last admitted cohort that we have just admitted. (They will start IMA in Fall 2026 and finish in 2028.) The total award is CAD 1,650,000 which corresponds to approximately USD 1,171,178. (All but CAD 306,500—the final instalment—has been received; the final instalment will be received in the coming academic year to finish the support of the already-admitted final cohort.) Most of the funding goes to student stipends. The original application included a detailed budget and list of activities for IMA; NSERC audits our reports to ensure ongoing compliance and successful execution of our training program.
