- SFF speculation grant, approved May 2026 against a rolling S-Process application. That application funds Cor's academic build for calendar 2027: an academic researcher (postdoc-level, evolutionary human sciences) to take on discriminant validation and publish, plus a re-audit of the atlas against primary sources. The $10,000 has not been disbursed. It sits in due diligence at the receiving foundation, and my fiscal sponsor changed while it was there. I count it as zero until it lands. Speculation grants are also scored against any eventual Main Round award rather than added to it, so it functions as a floor rather than as additional funding. The grantmaking.ai study is a different deliverable, different months, and does not overlap: inter-rater reliability, run by me, ending December 2026. The sequence is deliberate. The reliability study runs first and has a preregistered failure threshold. If independent raters can't apply the criteria, the 2027 academic work doesn't proceed as planned, and I'd rather find that out for $36,000 than after a year of postdoc time.
